Festival Of Lights

Get ready on Dec 1! Each year, our organization provides volunteers to launch each year's province-famous Airdrie Festival Of Lights event!  This includes being in the store to sell treasures to the public, accepting donations at the entrances, selling hot chocolate & cider, running the train, stoking the fire and being there to answer any citizen's questions . It is always a night of fun and entertainment, no matter how cold!

Blood Donation Clinic

We have been providing Airdrie 1st volunteers to assist Canadian Blood Services donor clinics for years. Our members help to provide a safe environment and monitor participants after they have given blood. Snacks anyone? We get the second best role: giving out snacks! Second, of course, to everyone who donates their blood and gives life to others!

Airdrie Seniors Week

So much fun is packed into one week for Airdrie's senior citizens! And we are so excited to be able to provide such a huge role through our volunteerism for this event! From singing and dancing, to beer tastings, to various fitness experiences, to BBQ and car show, to high tea, to Art projects, to crib tournaments and bingo! There is something fun happening every day, and we volunteer at every one of them!
